An active participant is someone who takes an involved and engaged role in a particular activity, event or situation. This person is not just a bystander but actively contributes to what's happening around them through their actions, opinions, ideas, or involvement. They are proactive and contribute positively towards the outcome of whatever they are participating in. In other words, an active participant is someone who is fully engaged and committed to being a part of something bigger than themselves.
