A shuttle is a small, often hand-operated vehicle or device used for weaving thread into cloth. It can also refer to a spacecraft designed for transporting people and cargo between Earth's orbit and low Earth orbit, such as NASA’s Space Shuttle program. In addition, the term "shuttle" is sometimes used in reference to any type of regular service or conveyance that transports passengers or goods over short distances, such as an airport shuttle bus.
