Agave is a kind of plant that usually has long, thick leaves. It is known for being used to make sweeteners like nectar or syrup, and is also used to make alcoholic drinks like tequila.

I replaced the golden syrup
with agave nectar but it was way too sweet for my liking... apart from that - delicious.

If you wanted to make this healthier you can substitute the rolled oats for steel cut and the syrup
for agave nectar.
Then mix together 1/2 cup steamed or heated soy milk, 3
tablespoons agave nectar, and 1/8 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder.
1 cup fresh young coconut meat 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1/4
cup agave syrup 2 teaspoons vanilla extract coconut water to blend.
This 100 % organic sweetener is derived from the blue
agave plant.
I used low glycemic organic
blue agave instead of honey and the bread turned out great.
Both of them use
raw agave nectar instead of sugar.
I was prepared not to like almond flour as well
as agave nectar (I'd never tried that before either), but I was blown away.
You decide, but stay far away
from agave for your own health.
Enhanced with a touch of cinnamon and sweetened with
organic agave, slices are thankfully not too sweet.

Taste for sweetness before forming the cookies, add more
agave if necessary.
If you like»em sweeter, I suggest trying what's written below, but then tasting and potentially adding a little
more agave if it's not sweet enough.

replace agave nectar for the same amount of crushed pineapple with juice, I'm going to give it a go.

little agave nectar instead of the vanilla extract (I am intolerant to vanilla) and added a little more honey to it and it was just delicious!

I personally stay away from
agave sweeteners as much as possible unless the amounts are very small.
No refined flours or sugars, with minimal
agave at that.
THREE — the raw
agave juice is filtered to eliminate any solid particles the juice may contain left over from the fiber.

dark agave nectar, you can use maple or rice syrup.

In a sauce pan heat up the water and
agave until combined.
In a small saucepan, heat the soy milk and 2 tablespoons
agave over medium heat until lukewarm.
Instead of light corn syrup you could use golden syrup or
even agave.
Unfortunately I don't
think agave nectar would be a good substitute for the brown rice syrup.
