An abuser is someone who uses or exploits something or someone in an unfair, improper, or destructive manner. This term can be applied to various situations where one person or entity takes advantage of another for their own benefit, often causing harm or distress in the process. Examples include physical abuse, emotional abuse, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, and substance abuse, among others. An abuser may not necessarily intend to cause harm but rather be unaware of the consequences of their actions or lack empathy for those they are using or exploiting.
