An apartment complex is a group of residential buildings, often containing multiple apartments or units within each building. These buildings are typically located on a shared piece of property and may share common amenities such as swimming pools, fitness centers, laundry facilities, and other communal spaces. An apartment complex can range in size from small with just a few units to large with hundreds of apartments. The term "apartment complex" is often used interchangeably with "apartment building," but an apartment complex typically has more than one building on the property, whereas an apartment building may consist of only one building.
