A bodega is a small grocery store or convenience shop, typically found in urban areas. The term comes from the Spanish language and originally referred to a wine cellar or storage facility for food and drink. In modern usage, however, it often refers to any type of small retail establishment that sells various household items, snacks, and sometimes even fresh produce.
