A hoarder is a person who accumulates and saves items, often to the point where it causes clutter and disrupts their daily life. These individuals may have difficulty letting go of things because they feel emotional attachment or believe that they might need them in the future. Hoarding can be a symptom of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or other mental health conditions, but it can also develop as a coping mechanism for stressful life experiences.
