Industrial Hemp refers to a variety of cannabis sativa that is grown specifically for its fibers, seeds and oils. It contains very low levels of THC (the psychoactive compound found in marijuana) making it unsuitable for recreational use but highly valuable for industrial purposes such as textiles, paper products, building materials, food products, biofuels, and personal care items.
