"Loan syndications" refers to a process in which a group of lenders come together to provide a loan to a borrower. Instead of just one bank providing the entire loan amount, multiple banks or financial institutions join forces to spread the risk and share the loan amount. This allows for larger loan amounts to be given to borrowers and diversifies the lenders' exposure to risk.
