Definition of «multisensory»

The term multisensory refers to a type of experience or perception that involves more than one sense. This can include, but is not limited to, sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. In other words, it's an experience that engages multiple senses at the same time, allowing for a richer, more immersive experience. For example, watching a movie with surround sound and feeling the vibrations of the bass can create a multisensory experience because it involves both sight (the visual component) and hearing (the auditory component), as well as touch through the vibration of the seat.
