Paranoia is a psychological condition characterized by irrational fears and suspicions, often leading to distrust or even persecution delusions. It can manifest as an overwhelming sense of anxiety or worry that something bad will happen, despite lack of evidence for such concerns. People experiencing paranoia may feel like others are out to get them, or they might be constantly on guard against imagined threats. This condition is often treated with therapy and/or medication to help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
