Pelvi is a term used to describe the pelvic region, which includes the bones and organs located in that area. Specifically, it refers to the pelvis itself - a structure formed by four bones (the two hip bones, the sacrum, and the coccyx) that are fused together in adults. The pelvi also contains several important organs such as the bladder, uterus or prostate gland, among others. In some cases, "pelvi" may be used to refer to a specific type of cancer affecting the reproductive system, known as pelvic cancer.
