A slider is a type of sandwich consisting of a usually large, flat bread or bun with various ingredients such as meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and condiments. The name comes from the fact that the top half of the sandwich can be slid onto the bottom half, making it easy to eat while holding in both hands.
