A sundeck is a deck or platform on the top level of a boat, houseboat, or other watercraft. It provides an outdoor space for relaxation and recreation in the sunshine, often featuring chairs, benches, tables, and sometimes even loungers or swimming pool. The term "sundeck" is also used to describe similar outdoor spaces on land-based structures such as hotels, resorts, or private homes with a roof deck or balcony area that faces the sun.
