A whistleblower is an individual who exposes wrongdoing, corruption or other misconduct within an organization to people in positions of authority. They bring attention to unethical behavior and help hold those responsible accountable for their actions. Whistleblowers often face retaliation from the individuals or organizations they are exposing, but they do so out of a sense of duty to reveal the truth and protect others from harm.
