Definition of «workaround»

A workaround is a temporary solution to a problem or an obstacle, that allows someone to bypass the issue and continue with their task. It's usually used when there's some kind of technical difficulty or limitation that prevents someone from doing something in the normal way, so they have to find another way to achieve the same result using different methods or tools. The term can also be applied more broadly to describe any type of creative problem-solving to overcome a challenge or obstacle.
