Re: Rob Wilson (# 54), Rob — the reason this matters is that bcp are a key ingredient in hockey stick reconstructions, and SM has shown that the particular bcp used are stripbark AND the Yamal few good men (a second key series used in multiple recons with hockey stick shapes) exhibit a pattern of growth very similar to a damage response.
