I have noticed that since I have become a
stay at home mom (I
was a teacher before baby # 2
was born last year) I have started over-analyzing everything WAYYYYYYY
too much.
I saw online yesterday that the Today Show did a segment on whether or not working
moms take advantage of
moms who
stay at home with their kids or
moms who work from
home (for the purpose of this blogpost working
moms are moms AND DADS who work outside of the
home — because dads have said some of this stuff
too.
If you
're a
mom who
's staying at home with her kids but also working there
too, your acronym
is WAHM for work
at home mom.
Stay -
at -
home moms may have higher levels of depression because they want to
be employed but find the cost of childcare
too high to make a job worthwhile.
Many expecting
moms assume that breast pumps
are most useful for women who plan to work shortly after giving birth, but the reality of breastfeeding
is that breast pumps
are a helpful tool for
stay -
at -
home moms too.
Any
mom to
be can confirm that we can sometimes feel a bit claustrophobic during pregnancy, we tend to want to
stay close to
home especially as we get closer to our due date and don't tend to go
too far, this also means doing a lot more sitting
at home, which doesn't really help speed up labor either!
Now i have two todlers but im a fulk time student
at college because for me stayung
at home is too stressfull, thats why i admire
stay at home moms, the ones thatbdo this 24/7

stay at home parent isn't automatically a
mom, but can
be a dad
too.
Stay at home mom's
are great but working
mom's
are wonderful
too.

's too bad that there isn't a program that pays
stay -
at -
home moms.
Just so you know, this much - loved dress DID make its initial debut as a nightgown, but nursing
moms quickly discovered it
was WAY
too practical to
stay at home.
Co-sleeping,
being a
stay at home mom (should also
be the norm), and thrift store shopping save tons
too.
If working part - time
is an option for you and you want to
stay home with the kids
too, you'll want to find... MORE a job that isn't trapping you to the point that you feel like you
're missing out on the joys of
