My current
workout routine is 3x per week at the
gym doing 3 × 5 squats, 3 × 5 bench, 3 × 5 pullups
+ dips, and 3 × 5 lat pulldown.
As it is nearly impossible to mimic, in a 45 minute
gym workout, any challenge faced out on a 26
+ mile run, the emphasis then becomes nearly strictly injury prevention, with a minor focus on building hill climbing / descending power.
