I really want FFXV to have a Online / LAN PvP (player vs player)
1v1 duel mode that's Mod Support compatible.
By far,
the 1v1 duel mode is the most enjoyable, as the other modes very quickly turn from finely tuned exercises in strategy to chaotic free - for - alls.

Arcade mode introduces several new match types including 3v3 elimination and
1v1 duel modes, while Sombra finally makes her way into the hero roster.

modes:
Duel (
1v1), Brawl (2v2) and Dominion...
Play
modes are pretty standard, with a free - for - all arena
mode, a
Duel Mode for
1v1 combat, as well as the Sacrifice
Mode, which is 4v4 and is similar to capture the flag
modes of other FPS games.
With it's numerous game
modes ranging from
Duels and Brawls (
1v1 and 2v2 respectively) to the more crowded battlefields of Dominion (4v4) and Deathmatch (4v4 Skirmish or Elimination) where you're put up against real players or AI as well as weaker much less worrisome foot AI soldiers.
The free weekend will open up all of the content in For Honor - Story Mode, PvP and PvAI
modes that include
1v1 Duel, 2v2 Skirmish and 4v4 Dominion, Elimination and Skirmish
modes.
The event also adds new
modes for the arcade, the 3v3 Lockout Elimination
mode where heroes are taken away as they are used to win matches and the
1v1 Limited
Duel forcing players to choose one of three random heroes each round.
It's a pretty comprehensive look at what the full multiplayer
mode will be like, featuring three multiplayer
modes (the full game will have five): the
1v1,
Duel, Brawl, 2v2, and Dominion, 4v4.
For Honor Free Weekend players will have access to the full game, which includes the Story Mode, PvP / PvAI Game
Modes (
1v1 Duel, 2v2 Brawl, 4v4 Dominion / Elimination / Skirmish), 18 Heroes and 18 Maps!
All told there are five
modes to choose from: Dominion, which feels like a cross between a MOBA and Capture the Flag in which you push your soldiers forward while taking control points, Elimination (read: Deathmatch), Skirmish, which is a race to 1,000 points by way of killing enemy heroes and soldiers, and then Brawl (2v2) and
Duel (
1v1)
modes for the true tests of mettle.
That's why we have
Duel, of course, the
1v1 PVP
mode that anyone worried about a dishonorable discharge should be a fan of.
