It creates holographic visual effects which are somewhat like
the 3D effects seen in Honeycomb's music app.
The system does indeed have the two aforementioned cameras, but they are solely used to take pictures and not to actually render
the 3D effect you see in the games.
Not exact matches
The
3D effect makes it much harder to
see what the graphs are really showing I think.
In movie theatres, the eyes need to focus on the screen itself to
see objects in focus, but the
3D effects can force the viewer to try to focus several metres in front of or behind the screen instead.
No significant
effect on the hypoxic response was
seen in ER - α — negative samples or lines and MFC remained at the same, low levels (Fig.

effect, so if your local theater isn t
3D capable, don t feel bad.
The
effect of the film (which I
saw in IMAX
3D) is even more stunning.
The use of
3D layers, CGI, and real - time
effects create a look not
seen in other productions.
I recommend
seeing the movie in 2D as the copious use of CGI special
effects may be ruined with gimmicky post-production
3D crap.
Not a lot of movies are worth
seeing in
3D, but The Smurfs 2 has enough
effects that looked really good compared to a 2D screening.
The visuals of the island and its «
3D»
effects are reminiscent of games such as Street Racer or the original Mario Kart and I mean that literally — there's no modern - day polish or
3D polygons in use (at least from what I could
see), just good old 16 - bit sprites in action.
My screening was in 2D, but other than a few
effects, I don't really
see an advantage to a
3D viewing.
Even a
3D refusenik like myself was left positively evangelical by the format after the way Lee uses it, and Richard Parker (and the other animals) are pretty much the best visual
effects I've ever
seen.
The art - style is the same heavily anime - inspired art that we
saw in Fire Emblem Fates, and while the
3D models replicate this style perfectly, hit -
effects are very basic and character models constantly clip through the environment in awkward ways.
I did
see it in imax and i found it disapointing.I max is totally unneccary and there where only 2 scenes where
3D has a
effect.
There are different worlds clashing (the Astral Plane, the Mirror Dimension and the Dark Dimension)-- and all the special
effects, especially in Imax and
3D, are as mind - bending as any yet
seen.
We'll
see what
effect the re-release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time does for the
3DS next week.
Having
seen this one in
3D, I'll mention again that the enhanced
effects offered by this technology do not offset the darkened, dulled look.
Soon will will
see quality
3D games that utilize features including motion blur, dynamic lighting and shading, and other
effects more commonly associated with desktop gaming.
Maybe when Asus mentioned it was a
3D tablet it could do
3D effects like you
see in some other Honeycomb tablets, such as the Viewsonic ViewPad 7X.

see all the things that occur on the field - the team had some trouble bringing together the ridable monsters aspect of the game, but eventually worked it out - the full game starts off with monsters that players can ride on land - you'll eventually unlock sea, air, and multi-jump land rising monsters - a «Big Air ride» was teased as well - by clearing the story, features will be unlocked that further modify monsters such as abilities and changing their sizes - Stealth Boxes which can not be found without using the Reactor only contains useful items that are optional - compulsory items that are needed to be found with the Reactor are placed in non-stealth locations - accessories can strengthen monsters, but monster strength is mainly determined from raising and combining them - features more offense - related content in the form of new spells and skills - new water - type spells are included - new skills added enable more detailed adjustments in versus, adding more strategic features - one of the items that can be bought with Communication Coins has the same
effect with «Key of Encounters» - this lets players recruit monsters a bit more easily they've befriended before - since Communication Coins can only be obtained from multiplayer battles, it's completely optional - people who still do StreetPass but don't want to do multiplayer battles can still get them by combining monsters - DLC monsters are planned to be added regularly post-release until around Golden Week (April 29 — May 5)- - A national tournament is also planned, with more details coming later - carryover feature from Dragon Quest Monsters 2 that comes into play after the ending - players can bring up to 10 monsters which are ranked A or below from DQM2 to DQMJ3 each day

Effect that would fit the style of the Avatars, will we
see a price increase that would reflect the added time spent on each item?
Well, the catch with the
3DS is that you must be viewing the device straight - on in order to
see the
effects of
3D.
In fact she was so impressed by what she
saw, she calls the system «game - changing» and its
3D effects «mind - blowing.»
The Collector's Edition is packaged in a special «rain -
effect» slipcase — thanks to special embossing and other manufacturing tricks, it gives the impression of being streaked with

Effect was originally a
3d third - person stealth - action puzzle game yet Fear
Effect Sedna has been presented as a fixed - angle top - down isometric twin - stick shooter style which focuses on stealth, action, puzzles and tactics — that is a lot of characteristics and quite ambitious for a small indie game studio.
Also, every enemy image has been remade to fit the higher quality resolution of the Nintendo
3DS; the only drawback is that the
3D effect is not used much because most of the action takes place in the touch screen, but you'll
see it in action when you fuse demons and other minor moments.
This is by far the best looking game I've
seen to date on the
3DS and the
3D -
effects are awesome.
The
3D effects in the game create a great sense of depth and do come in handy when landing your aircraft or
seeing how far you are from a certain target or ring.
I have other friends who wear glasses that simply can not even
see the
3D effect, sick or no.
Yesterday Origins will be their first
3D game, allowing many new
effects like dynamic shadowing and realistic physics for objects, though the graphic style will remain stylized as you can
see from the screenshots.

The demo required a proprietary display that could regulate the strength of its
3D effect, and I'm not sure when we're going to start
seeing those, considering current with - glasses
3D TV's are already having a hard time catching on.
However, Nintendo has
seen continued success with its
3DS handheld console, releasing several iterations, including this year's New
3DS with improved stereoscopic
effects and a larger screen.
Purists will probably want to go with the New
3DS XL so they get all the extra hardware features and the stereoscopic
effects (which can be genuinely impressive —
see Super Mario
3D Land, OutRun, Kid Icarus: Uprising and the Zelda titles).
The head - on perspective, meanwhile, is just as good as any other
3D Classic title, and because Thunder Blade was one of SEGA's later super scaler titles the
effect is more impressive than
seen in
3D Out Run and
3D Space Harrier.
I haven't had a chance to try the
3DS yet so my experience is limited, but I fail to
see how it can be used for anything more than a cool special
effect every now and again.
Whereas previously to view stereoscopic
3D images on a
3DS you needed to keep your head locked at a certain viewing angle, which if broken would cause you to
see two images that confused your brain and hurt your eyes, the New
3DS uses its top camera in conjunction with a new infrared sensor to locate and follow your eyes for about 60 - 70 degrees either side of centre, constantly readjusting the angle at which it projects images and effectively meaning the
3D effect is never lost.
But you get the picture... A blend of 2D and
3D gameplay, crazy level designs, the sonic unleashed model for the Wii game, DS one looks like Sonic Rush... I think you can even
see some of the «wisp» side
effects in there.
Hopefully they'll at least release a trailer on the
3DS in order to
see the
3D effect before pre-ordering closes.
Obviously, you can not
see the
3D effects directly but you should be able to get an idea as something reaches out to the screen every few seconds.
Nintendo also revealed that the technology the company used in the
3DS meant that players wouldn't have to wear glasses to
see the 3 - D
effect.
It will be interesting to
see whether CoD's adoption of
3D tech has a knock - on
effect for the rest of the industry.
Gone are the days of not moving your head in order to
see the handheld's stereoscopic
3D effect.
