3D and already have a KOF game in your collection, buy this game, it's really that simple.
If Dimps can make a 2D Budokai game that also has a middle ground for
3D fans I think there would be a nice happy medium for hardcore
fighters and casuals.
Sporting story mode with additional strategic elements with a slightly cut - down version of other Extreme Vs. games, it's a good game in its own right that can give both new players and diehard Gundam

so far no db game has preformed on all cylinders, tenkaichi is still my favorite series but i haven't played in six years and nostalgia (up to a couple months ago) has blinded me to its flaws, since i had low expectations for budokai i noticed its flaws immediately and almost wrote it off (the game flaws is a totally different conversation all together though), all
fans need to put nostalgia aside and see what would truly make the best game, but the 2d angle isn't what makes budokai great, and if dimps worked hard those 2 years I'm confidant they can make a
3d fighter the likes of which the world has never seen, maybe something even evo worthy.
