remakes (yet, only a few games have been
remade.
Overall, though, there are far more local fan favorites — Splatoon picked up the top prize for Game of the Year — and Japan - only titles, such
as Yo - Kai Watch Busters and the upcoming Dragon Quest 6: Journey of the Cursed King
remake on Nintendo
3DS.
But for an HD
remake as Ocarina already got a re-release on
3DS, then Twilight Princess would be a great idea!
I'd rather see Nintendo use their resources on something completely new
as opposed to continuously putting out
remake after
remake (barring Majora's Mask
3D, I really want that game).
Later got DQ9 also for ds, and I have heard and read that DQ7 will be
remade for the
3ds, possibly 8
as well.
Yeah obviously, a good game is a good game, it would just be prettier on Wii U, but you know, if they're indeed making a
remake, might
as well make it the prettiest they can, and that's on Wii U, not
3DS.
They
remade the game frame by frame with a new graphics engine to greatly increase the graphical quality of the game like they did with OOT
3D but they aren't new games, they didn't have to come up with a new story / gameplay / art style or even create a game from scratch so in essence it is a port with enhanced graphics and audio

I don't know if they'll ever revisit what made Chibi - Robo great in a new game (they certainly seem pretty hell - bent against it), but I would really love it if they re-released the third game that never got localized (which seemed to be a true successor to the first) either

3DS or just on WiiU DS VC, and localize it.

as abilities and changing their sizes - Stealth Boxes which can not be found without using the Reactor only contains useful items that are optional - compulsory items that are needed to be found with the Reactor are placed in non-stealth locations - accessories can strengthen monsters, but monster strength is mainly determined from raising and combining them - features more offense - related content in the form of new spells and skills - new water - type spells are included - new skills added enable more detailed adjustments in versus, adding more strategic features - one of the items that can be bought with Communication Coins has the same effect with «Key of Encounters» - this lets players recruit monsters a bit more easily they've befriended before - since Communication Coins can only be obtained from multiplayer battles, it's completely optional - people who still do StreetPass but don't want to do multiplayer battles can still get them by combining monsters - DLC monsters are planned to be added regularly post-release until around Golden Week (April 29 — May 5)- - A national tournament is also planned, with more details coming later - carryover feature from Dragon Quest Monsters 2 that comes into play after the ending - players can bring up to 10 monsters which are ranked A or below from DQM2 to DQMJ3 each day
Sure, Switch is getting great games, the
3DS is getting
remade enhanced ports (Nintendo finally admitted Metroid was an enhancement of Metroid II: Return of Samus), but mobile is being left out in the cold
as Nintendo hasn't released any apps since that Fire Emblem one which was last fiscal year!
Skyward Sword is coming along rather nicely, and Ocarina of Time has just seen a
remake for the
3DS (which I'll play
as soon
as I can afford one of them newfangled systems).
Western Dragon Quest fans have been left out in the cold over the past few years on portable platforms too,
as a
3DS remake of Dragon Quest VII saw an early 2013 release in Japan, but still remains unannounced for Western territories.
