I've already given my two cents on
the 3DS launch line - up, but if you missed it and can't be bothered to click here, then here's a quick run down.

3D fighting adult wrestling game you'll be able to beat the shit out of your opponents.
Doraemon: Nobita no Takarajima is the new entry on Nintendo
3DS, and it sold 4 948 units at
launch (which is in
line with the other Doraemon games on Nintendo
3DS).
The Nintendo
3DS struggled to sell out of the gate thanks to a high retail price and a weak
launch line up.

3DS could sure use some more games to cover the gaps left on the
launch line - up.
The announcement is good news for fans of the Nintendo
3DS and brings the U.S. in
line with Japan, which has had the handheld console for sale since it
launched last October.
Mario Party: Star Rush, which will
launch for
3DS on November 4, 2016, will support the new
line of Mario amiibo, which
launch the same day.
Since the
launch of the
line, however, Nintendo has also found other innovative ways to incorporate the figures into other software both on the Wii U and also with the
3DS.

Either way, I think they showed off the original trailer (The one with the original
launch line - up for the
3DS) a bit too early.
With the eShop going live hours earlier, Nintendo should treat the
3DS portion of the show like
Launch 2.0 - not in those explicit terms, of course, but obviously, the
3DS, despite breaking a few Day 1 sales records, isn't doing too well, and I think a large part of that can be attributed to people looking at the
line - up and thinking «for $ 250, there's not really anything I'm excited for right now.»

Hopefully games don't get pushed back and it has a strong
line up at
launch so it doesn't have the rough start that the
3DS had and only up until now is it looking better.
When the
3DS first came out we had our doubts — the
launch software
line - up was weak, and there were serious questions about how a dedicated handheld could survive in a world of cheap, great smartphone games.

Unfortunate I know, but it's probably for the best considering the fantastic
line up of
3DS games coming out this year (New Super Mario Bros 2, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Paper Mario Sticker Star, etc) and the whole Wii U thing with the console being
launched later this year, it's possible Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem would make it too many great games crammed into a short amount of time.
There were many factors that did not help the
3DS launch including the state of the world economy as well as the fact that the system was released within years of the last upgrade to the Nintendo DS
line.
Dragon Quest XI will
launch in Japan on July 29th for PS4 and
3DS, with a Nintendo Switch release also planned at some time down the
line.

3DS, on the ides of never for PS Vita, and some time down the
line for Switch, with no
launch date announced for Nintendo's new console as of yet.
