resolution matters, but a
4K screen has been touted, although we could see a 2K panel on one variant

of the display touted for August and the Galaxy Note 5 - if current release trends are to continue - to be announced during IFA 2015 in Berlin, it's not too far a stretch to surmise that the next Note will have a 5.9 - inch
screen and
4K resolution.
The XPS 15 also has the option
of a
4K Ultra HD
screen with a
resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, compared the Retina MacBook Pro's 2880 x 1800.
The
4K rendering
of the Apple TV's menu
screens is bright and high in
resolution — a treat for the eyes.
There's currently no word on the
resolution of the
screens, so they may retain their 2K status, or Samsung may make the jump to
4K, we shall see.
While some
of Sony's devices used
4K panels for several years now, DisplayMate's findings and extensive testing suggest such a
resolution doesn't appear visually sharper on small
screens meant to be utilized by smartphones.
