night hotel stays each year, you'll get more than the annual fee's cost out of the
4th night free.
The only one that may be useful is being able to use points to book
hotels in conjunction with the
4th night free benefit.

4th night free for

Especially when you stack Citi Premier 1.25 x with Citi Prestige
4th night free hotel booking paid with TYP.
Honestly, if you use the
4th Night Free at even somewhat pricey
hotels, that benefit used just once could alone be worth $ 200.

hotels in a city we'll be visiting just to make sure that there aren't any good deals to be had (which would make a points redemption poor value) and, if there's a chance to combine a good deal with the Citi Prestige credit card's «

I'd probably book it through a Virtuoso travel agent who can get perks like
free breakfast,
4th night free and such just for booking through them, similar to AmEx Fine
Hotels & Resorts.
But if you're not in the market for international flights they're good for
4th night free hotel stays paid with ThankYou Points if you have the Prestige card.
Or you can get nearly $ 1,000 in value from the bonus on a
hotel redemption if you combine it with the 25 % discount from the
4th Night Free.
Perhaps the most notable perk is the
