I don't see the point in adding 4
players drafted in the 6 -
7th rounds this year.
Unless a high rated
player drops to the 1
7th position that you can't pass up (excluding QB, which won't help the team in 2018), I would draft OT 1st
round; DT or MLB in the 2nd
round; DT or MLB (which ever was not drafted in the 2nd
round) in the 3rd
round; DT in the 4th
round; and best available (keeping in mind special teams) in the 5th, 6th, and
7th rounds.
I agree with your theory here on 6th and
7th rounders besides we seem to do pretty good with undrafted
players
