After years of dedicated service as a Save -
a-Bull foster home and with the adoption team, processing adoption applications to make sure that
dogs and puppies were matched with great homes, Lori joined the Board of Directors to enhance the Save -
a-Bull leadership structure with her experience and background.
In addition to teaching obedience classes and working with Love -
A-Bull's
foster dogs, she maintains a client base for private training sessions through her business, The Balanced Bond
Dog Training.
When a new
dog is to be coming into our program as an Adopt -
A-Bull, we will send out an email to all open
foster homes letting everyone know the following: age, sex, history (where the
dog is coming from, background, etc.), characteristics, behavior with other
dogs & cats (to the best of current knowledge), behavior with children (if known), and the type of home our trainer feels he / she may do best in.
Save -
a-Bull can only take a
dog into rescue when we have an appropriate vacant
foster home for that
dog to live.

foster youth with amazing results!
Life Works strongly believe that the bond between «At Promise» youth and Love -
A-Bull's
foster dogs can increase their youth's self - confidence while creating therapeutic bonds with the
dogs.
This opportunity not only benefits the youth, but greatly increases the adoptability of Love -
A-Bull's
foster dogs.
In October of this year, Love -
A-Bull provided its
foster dogs and trainers to Life Works «At Promise» youth and the very first Paws Up Program began!
Though this program is still in its infancy both Love -
A-Bull and Life Works have already seen huge changes in the youth and the
foster dogs!

fosters and volunteers came across two
dogs running loose in a field outside of her neighborhood.

a-bull dog you see featured on this page will be available for a two week
foster trial period to make sure the
dog is the right fit.

a-Bull's content coordinator, so I spend my time looking through cute pictures of our
foster dogs, and uploading them to their profiles.
I began
fostering for Save -
A-Bull when financial changes left me needing help with
foster dog veterinary care and supplies.
She
fosters dogs for the local Adore -
A-Bull Rescue, pit bull rescue.
