i don't really agree with you in that the console is bad, or nintendo make «baby»
games, though nintendo have messed up not securing exclusives and not having a
AAA title for the launch window or even in the first year of the console, resulting in an onslaught of negative media
coverage that i think is close to irreversible.
A steady release of
AAA games helps, but the positive effect of the PlayStation Experience on the media
coverage is tremendous and the one reason that December, an otherwise slow month for the other platforms, is one of the strongest for Son — right in time for Christmas.
I might do a follow - up purely to discuss October / November, but suffice to say, that while it sees a lot of media
coverage, it is highly concentrated on a few
AAA games.
Unravel on the other hand is one of EA's rare venture into
games outside of the
AAA formula, and with its reveal garnered almost as much
coverage as FIFA 16.
I hope this
game gets ton of positive
coverage, just the early build alone shows heavy professional quality that deeply rivals many
AAA titles.
