Giving the huge success of the Nintendo Switch and being able to bring
AAA games on the Go.
We didn't just get a new console that gave us the means to play
AAA games on the go, we got a reason to play games again.
Not exact matches
While it's never
going to completely steal you away from the
AAA games on the console, it's a fun little title that's able to do some big things with old - school
game mechanics.
And if you want «a ton» to just mean 2000 of something, between all of the shovelware
on steam, all the indie
games released
on various consoles, all AA and
AAA titles, etc. you're
going to hit that number of new
games pretty easily.
With Bethesda's upcoming
AAA game lineup, including The Elder Scrolls Online, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and The Evil Within, all skipping out
on Wii U platform launches, one might wonder where all of the third party support for Nintendo's console is
going.
You don't have to
go the whole hog and produce a
AAA eLearning or serious
games title to create compelling learning, but with so much demand
on learners time during working hours, and so many great examples of what draws our learners attention during leisure time, why wouldn't you try to leverage some of the techniques used to make your learning and development more effective and more engaging.
No one has tried releasing truly mature
AAA games on the Switch yet, but don't get all defensive about it's power because obviously it isn't as strong as Xbox and PS4, it's barely stronger than the Wii U, this isn't a secret, so stop getting your panties ruffled up and
going full defense mode.
Before the switch released, everyone that wasnt a blind nintendo fanboy knew this console was
going to be underwhelming and wasnt
going to be powerful enough to run
AAA 3rd partys... Nintendo fanboy: But why bring that up when you can easilly play those
games on a ps4 / xb1.
Realtime Worlds boss David Jones has recently
gone on record as saying he could not make a
AAA - spec online
game for less than USD 50 million.
There is a huge back catalog of
AAA titles,
going back to the launch of the PS3, that still haven't found their way into the instant
game collection, yet these brand new indie titles are being offered as part of it
on day one.
Unless you have
AAA games that people want that's not
on the other consoles, its
going to be a short gen for you.
I've been in and around the
game industry for around 20 years, so I feel that I have the knowledge, experience, and history to be able to comment
on such matters since I know the kinds of things that
go into
game development, both
on an Indie level and a
AAA level.
Like I said I'm concern about Sony's silence
on games and subject when Nintendo
went blaze and glory with lots of in house
AAA games for the Switch.
This
game goes on sale quite often but if you want an open world
game action
game that has
AAA status, this is something worthwhile.
I like the selection of October
games I hope Sony keeps
going with triple
AAA games now since the price hike
on the memberships that started
on September 22nd

Nowadays,
AAA games get all the big ads — whether during the NBA Playoffs or in - between trailers at the movie theaters — while smaller, lesser known titles often
go unnoticed, slipping anonymously into the growing back - catalog of
games on any respective platform.
However, things
went wrong pretty early
on as the new console failed to grab a decent market share, due to which plenty of notable developers / publishers stopped releasing their
AAA games on the platform.
It's hard to think of many
AAA games which have lost their visionary auteur and then
gone on to make surprising improvements.

AAA games, I don't see anyone in those posts
going «well if only it was an Indy
game!»
Many
AAA companies have funneled millions into
games that have
gone on to become viewed as pure trash.
After working in the
AAA game industry
on titles like «Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters», he
went indie 5 years ago in order to create Retro / Grade, which was well received but not financially successful.
Super Mario Maker
went from being a promising curiosity into a must - have
AAA Nintendo exclusive during the event, Star Fox made its long - awaited return with Star Fox Zero, Xenoblade Chronicles X is still
on the horizon (though unfortunately delayed), and Yoshi's Woolly World looks to bring an added flair of creativity to the Wii U. Zelda is still coming to the Wii U, but these four
games more than fill the gap of Zelda's no - show this year.
Nevertheless, the studio's future as a
AAA game developer is in now in question, and fans of their franchises are left wondering what exactly is
going on behind closed doors.
Also, it's good to see some niche
games on the list - too many of the
AAA titles I've bought before - I never buy basketball
games but will definitely give it a
go this month!

AAA» publishers
went all - in
on destroying their
games in the name of easy money.
Last but not least, the company is also slashing the prices of various
games on the Windows 10 Store, including
AAA titles such as Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, as well as others like Modern Combat 5, Hitman
GO, Halo: Spartan Assault and more.
