In the berry muffins
I added rice malt syrup to sweeten and as I don't really mind things being very sweet I think you need to experiment with this to find the right amount of sweet for you.

Just made these with
added crystallised ginger and with
rice malt syrup instead of maple syrup.
Add the raw cacao powder, pinch of salt and the
rice malt syrup and whisk everything together until is all nice and smooth.
They are my take on a classic
Rice Krispie Square but they have a little
added salt, lots of peanut butter, and
malted milk powder to enhance the toasty flavor.
Peel, core and cut into pieces the remaining apples and put them in the bowl of a mixer,
add the almond milk, olive oil,
rice malt syrup and vanilla and process until very smooth.
I
added 1 extra tbsp of du chocolat drinking cocao & then only put in half a spoon of
rice malt syrup & as I said it turned out to be really yummy!

For the cheesecake filling,
add the cashews, coconut cream and
rice malt syrup to a high powered blender and blend until extremely smooth.
Doubled this recipe —
added an egg; 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence; used coconut oil in place of butter;
rice malt syrup in place of honey and
added half a cup of shredded coconut.
Loved this recipe — have changed things up a little to
add in more seeds etc, and swapped in some
rice malt syrup as well as some honey.
Add coconut oil, vanilla,
rice malt syrup and salt, and process until well combined.
We
added a little extra
rice malt syrup and a little extra ginger just because we love ginger in our house and to make them a little more sticky when we rolled them out.
You might like to reduce the
rice malt syrup by half in the filling of this cake to 1/4 cup and taste test before
adding more.
Recipe Serves 1 Ingredients 1 cup coconut milk 2 tsp maca powder 1 tsp tahini sesame paste 1 tsp vanilla To sweeten
add 1 tsp
rice malt syrup to taste (optional) Method Place all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir, whisking until combined and just warm then pour into a heat proof blender and blend for a few seconds until frothy.
Sprinkle with chia seeds and
add one tsp of
rice malt syrup.
Add in eggs, almond milk, vanilla essence, coconut oil and
rice malt syrup and whisk well.
Add the salt, vanilla, cacao powder, nut butter and
rice malt syrup and process until the mixture sticks together.
I find this is easiest to do if you first use a fork to whisk your
rice malt syrup and apple cider vinegar into one cup of warm water (not boiling, just hot enough to melt the syrup), then
add a second cup of cool water.
It's also fructose free and vegan - friendly if you make it with
rice malt syrup (sometimes called brown
rice syrup), and you don't
add any fruit.
As it is softening,
add the vinegar,
rice malt syrup and spices, and season with a little salt and pepper to taste.
To replicate the sweet vanilla flavour,
add a teaspoon of vanilla extract plus a teaspoon of sweetener such as maple syrup, honey,
rice malt syrup (or try a few drops of stevia).
