As you can expect from
a AMOLED screen the colors are vibrant and vivid.
Not exact matches
AMOLED means it should have deeper
colors than the LED
screens of devices like the iPhone, though it's not the bezel-less type of
screen you'd find on a Galaxy S8.
And while some users may not like the oversaturated
colors, the Super
AMOLED screens on Samsung's phones simply pop more and offer better viewing angles.
Looked at side by side, though, the TabPro S's Super
AMOLED screen has deeper blacks and more saturated
colors, and it gets a bit brighter than the Miix's panel.
But we could make out more details in photos on the Miix, without the
AMOLED screen's saturated
colors.
The bump in PPI, or pixels per inch, won't be terribly noticeable outside of virtual reality applications, but the change in performance from an LCD to an
AMOLED screen will change the way
colors are handled and have a bit of an effect on usability in direct sunlight.
The massive (5.3 ″) high resolution
screen (1280 × 800) is obviously front and center on the device, and it's Super
AMOLED nature means its got rich
colors and deep blacks.
The display looks terrific, with pure blacks and deep
colors, but Samsung's current top - of - the - line phones such as the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II ($ 799, 4 stars) come with Super
AMOLED Plus
screens, with even better
colors.

Colors punch with a lot more weight on the
AMOLED screen.
Its
colors are less saturated than you'll see on the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx's ($ 299.99, 4.5 stars) Super
Amoled Advanced
screen, but the Droid 4 is bright and sharp enough for indoor or outdoor use.

Samsung is leading
screen developers in LCD technology and recently unveiled a new
AMOLED screen of around 4.5 inches and featuring 800 × 480
color display.
As usual, Samsung's
screen provides more saturated
colors that are a little bit darker, which personally I like, please note that the display does not make use of
AMOLED technology.
The overall display
screen gets the job done, but I feel that the Q10 Super
AMOLED screen provides richer
colors.
Here are some of our first impressions: Right out of the box we were blown away by the DROID Charge's 4.3 - inch Super
AMOLED Plus
screen; the blacks are so dark that it's hard to see where the
screen ends and the chassis starts, and
colors really do pop.
Equipped with a 5.8 - inch Quad HD + Super
AMOLED display, the
screen of the Galaxy S9 pops with bright and vibrant
colors.
Delivering the first Super
AMOLED display for Windows to the market, Galaxy TabPro S features a multitouch
screen with deeper
color contrast.
I do wish LG included its NOVA
AMOLED screen for added
color and vibrancy, but the
screen, by and large, does not disappoint.
When we look at its
color gamut and the
colors in the sRGB
color space, we can conclude that every
color misses its target point and the
screen is thus oversaturated (a common theme on
AMOLED displays).
Colors on the
screen looked a bit washed out when compared to the Super
AMOLED of the Galaxy Nexus, but I'll chalk that up to the exaggerated saturation of that phone's
screen.

screen on the LG G3 didn't impress, Samsung's 5.7 - inch Super
AMOLED display delivers a fantastic combination of sharpness, rich
color and extra-wide viewing angles.

AMOLED panel,
colors are vivid, blacks are deep, and the
screen is bright enough that the only time you'll ever want to crank it up to maximum is when you're directly under a sunbeam.
