On the one hand, I'd love to see 50K credit
card bonuses for programs like
ANA and others, but I also worry about the devaluations that might follow.
They have some of the best sweet spots out of any airline, it's extremely easy to accumulate
ANA miles with American Express credit
cards, they have great booking policies, many different routes with minimal fees, and a superb product to go along with all of that.
ANA is a transfer partner with both Amex Membership Rewards and Amex SPG, so you might earn more by collecting points on those
cards and then moving them to
ANA.
On the other hand, let's not forget that
ANA does have a U.S. - based credit
card — with a laughable bonus, yes — but you can also use all these AMEX MR
cards for the same purpose.
I tend to agree that the offer isn't very impressive, although compared to what some other global carriers offer for their co-branded
cards (like
ANA's 5,000 miles bonus), this offer isn't bad.
There is a US - based
