Some redemption rates are very good, and in many cases your
ANA miles can go much further than miles from other U.S. - based
frequent flyer programs.
Like some other non-U.S. airline
frequent flyer programs (
ANA, JAL, Etihad, and more), Asia Miles offers incredible value, if you are willing to take the time to understand the potential.
ANA's
frequent flyer program is just one of many to be the target of a recent devaluation.
Until recently, one of the best uses of Membership Rewards points was to transfer 63,000 points into
ANA's
frequent flyer program, which could then be used for a roundtrip ticket in Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic from New York to London.
Valuation:
ANA has long been one of my top foreign
frequent flyer programs, partly thanks to its useful Star Alliance partner award search engine, its non-alliance partners, and its friendly stopover award policies.
