actually increases your cortisol and likelihood of

So, if I understand correctly, what you're saying is that when your body feels as though it's constantly stressed out, whether from exercise or some other stressor, what can happen is that it switches
on pathways to develop insulin resistance so that, rather than
putting food stuff into, say, muscle storage or liver storage, you might
actually create new
fat cells or
put glucose, you know, that has been converted into triglycerides, et cetera, into
fat cells so that your body has storage to rely upon in times of need even though you're not necessarily in a time of need.
This was
actually something that came up during a recent live event that I
put on in Spokane here where a NASA materials engineer named Ray Cronise came and spoke, and he showed how some of his clients are achieving in the range of 20 - 30 pounds of
fat loss every month simply by implementing a hot / cold contrast showers where for ten minutes a couple of times a day you go into a shower and you alternate twenty seconds of cold water with ten seconds of hot water.
So they can't — their cells are — are very resistant so they start — one, they get reliant
on sugar to burn but two, their cells don't wan na take it in a lot and
actually burn it so they get very tired and a lot of that that gets
put in gets stored as
fat.
I
actually didn't know about any research
on any of this, I just listened to my body and I noticed that when I ate a lot of carbs I was bloated and tired and so I stopped gluten and also diary altogether and started
putting together foods that felt right... I didn't realise till a couple of years ago when I was doing a nutrition course that my diet was very low carb and high
fat, which according to the course I was doing was not good for my health — which did confuse me as I had never felt better in my life.
Actually increased my processed and meat /
fat consumption when I neared brutal skinny, to
put a few pounds back
on.
This faster metabolism means that you can
actually exercise more, which in turn leads to you
putting on more muscle mass and burning more
fat.
WEll today was a proud day for me and my chicken legs because I
actually put on a pair of rugby shorts and YOU didn't laugh at me!!!!!!!!!!! I've never gained muscle while also losing
fat but I've also never tried.
I have
actually put on 1.5 kg or roughly 3 pounds over the last couple weeks but this coincided with the time at which I started taking creatine for the first time so not sure if the added weight is water, muscle of
fat to be honest.
I know it's a good
fat and it's healthy etc, but I'm afraid of
putting on weight and I was wondering if too much coconut oil can
actually make you gain weight?
so i need to focus
on keeping the
fat off the body to show off the muscle I
actually to have... I worry about training because I do
put BULK
on easily and I keep hearing about weight training... and since I am short and have SHORT legs... and when i did that wrist test the thumb and and index finger touch..
If you read some of the research you will find out that intermittent fasting is a great way to lower your body
fat without decreasing your muscle mass... it can
actually help you
put on some muscle.
For me, I'm not terribly concerned with the number
on the scale — I'm looking to
put on muscle — so ideally I will be losing body
fat but
actually gaining pounds.
