Hours after James Franco won the best actor prize at the Gotham Awards, The Disaster Artist screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber won the NBR's best
adapted screenplay prize, setting up that film about The Room director Tommy Wiseau for an unlikely awards season run.
In their third cinematic go - round together, Richard Linklater, Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy won the Best
Adapted Screenplay prize for «Before Midnight.»
