I was also out of cocoa powder so I subbed six squares of unsweetened baking chocolate,
added an extra 1/4 cup of almond
meal to balance out the extra
liquid.
Replace 1/4 cup of the tigernut flour with a pure hemp protein powder; replace the sunflower seeds with ground flax seeds (flax
meal); leave out the coconut oil, and instead
add more of the mulberry soaking
liquid until it gathers together into a ball.
I
added a little almond
meal because I was a little worried about how
liquid the batter was.
If you poach or use a crock - pot (cook meats in
liquids) and then throw away the juices, you are tossing out some nutrients as well so be sure to try and
add those back into the finished
meal!

liquids to 30 min or more before or after
meals (though don't do that perfectly at all), and when drinking carrot juice, I always

Just note if you do

liquid, or a lot of extra dry ingredient e.g. more protein, coconut or almond
meal, you will need to
add in a little extra
liquid to balance out the texture.

liquid meal.
Liquid meals are easy to digest and are a great way to
add plenty of healthy fats to the diet.
Adding liquid (of any type) to a
meal, is detrimental and only dilutes your body's digestive juices and makes it even more difficult to digest your food.
I also force my dog to take in more

adding a cup of water to the Orijen... for a soupy
