Take 3 Dives to get a PADI
Adventure Diver certification, and 5 dives including Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation to become and Advanced Diver..
After your PADI
Adventure Diver certification you can take the next step by completing two more adventure dives.
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive the PADI
Adventure Diver certification.
Complete three Adventure Dives and you earn
the Adventure Diver certification.

To become a PADI
Adventure Diver you need your PADI Open Water
certification (or equivalent) and the desire to experience thrilling scuba
adventures.
The first dive of this specialty course can count as an
Adventure Dive for your PADI Advanced Open Water
Diver certification.
Prerequisites for this course include a PADI
Adventure Diver (must include Underwater Navigation)
certification as well as proof of medical first aid training (such as EFR) within the past two years.
Prior to
certification as a PADI Advanced Open Water
Diver, you must successfully complete at least five
Adventure Dives.
If you complete the 1 - day
Adventure Diver course, you can gain your Advanced
certification another time simply by making 2 more course dives.
