To freeze:
After cooking the ground beef, put all ingredients into a gallon sized freezer bag, remove as much air as possible, seal, label and freeze.

cooking competition where we were allowed an assigned cut of lean
beef (ours was
ground beef) along with four other ingredients from the pantry / fridge and unlimited spices and seasonings.

cook, allowing it to brown (don't keep stirring it around, let it sit
after touching the pan for a minute or two.)
