After painting the tray with DIY chalk paint (Recipe HERE) in Behr's Bit of Sugar, I sanded and waxed all but the bottom of the inside.

My variation — we left the cauli bits on the
tray after the first bake and
painted on the sauce which meant there were still some crispy bits on the bottom.
I also purchased some vinyl stickers of the teams logo that I wanted to put in the center of the
trays after they were
painted.
I had an image transfer from iron orchid designs and added that to the
tray after two coats of
paint.

After the
trays were
painted a pink base coat, I used white
paint and a dry - brush technique to give them a distressed, chippy look.
