I agree 100 % that those things would likely be difficult for a beginner, but here's the thing:

book, it seems pretty clear that those skills are required for flipping / rehabbing as well — he devotes
entire chapters to these subjects.

books together, out loud, as we had done the
entire Harry Potter series, but Dan kept falling asleep
