I do find the flavor of
aioli to be superior, but
mayo will do in a pinch.

I made extra
mayo /
aioli and used it to make a Philly «Cheese» steak salad.
Even more, I've paired them with a garlic
aioli that takes all of two minutes to make but will have you dunking these sweet potato fries until your hands are slathered and messy in that homemade
mayo, garlicky goodness.
Vegan cashew
mayo or
aioli sauce works pretty well.
I suggest serving them with your favorite sauce, such as ketchup,
mayo, ranch dressing, or
aioli sauce.
For the
aioli dip, mix together in a bowl, 4 tablespoons of
mayo (I use Just
Mayo), 2 cloves of garlic minced, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (for more heat add more Sriracha,) and a couple pinches of salt and pepper.
The crab cakes are paleo, I revamped the classic

If you want to make it a little healthier, add more spinach to the end product and omit some of the vegan

aioli, replacing it with plain yogurt.
I like to make an easy lemon
aioli by stirring a good amount of fresh lemon juice (and / or parsley and garlic) into some avocado oil
mayo.
I dipped the fritters in a
mayo aioli sauce, yum.
The only thing I do differently is use
aioli instead of the
mayo (I still add the lemon).
