I've still got some
albacore tuna lurking
in the freezer and I'm thinking it might be really tasty coated
in dukkah and pan fried.
When serving fish to kids, parents should keep all fish and mercury warnings
in mind, including that they limit canned
albacore tuna to no more than once a week.
For example one cup of Silk Wellness Soy Milk only has 32 mg of DHA and EPA vs. the 330 mg

tuna in the same data set.

Omega 3's
in Flax, Fish, and Walnuts: Any kind of fatty fish (such as
tuna,
albacore, herring, etc.) contains an abundant amount of omega 3 fatty acids which provide a host of health benefits including the protection and promotion of brain cells and tissue.
Canned
albacore and yellowfin
tuna, however, are especially high
in mercury, so it's best to avoid these altogether.
I recommend bringing
in lots of wild - caught fish, such as
albacore tuna and salmon.

One question, though: wouldn't it be better to use a «chunk light»
tuna instead of
Albacore tuna, the latter being high
in mercury?
Instead, I ate only
albacore solid white
tuna in spring water (virtually fat free).
Fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, herring, lake trout, sardines and
albacore tuna are high
in omega - 3 fatty acids.
Surprisingly we come into contact with heavy metals
in everyday life — through the air we breathe (think vehicle emissions and other environmental pollutants),
in the food we eat (non-organic foods that have been treated with pesticides and herbicides), if you have dental fillings made from mercury - containing amalgam, and certain types of large fish (such as king mackerel, swordfish, orange roughy, marlin,
tuna steaks, and canned «white»
albacore).
Stash the two star ingredients (
Albacore tuna and white beans)
in your pantry for a last - minute lunch on the cheap.

Omega - 3 is a type of fat found
in many types of fish — salmon,
albacore tuna, herring, anchovies, and sardines.
Because of the slightly higher mercury
in albacore tuna and
tuna steak, you'll want to keep your intake to less than 6 ounces per week.
Add
in 1/4 cup of shredded carrots, 1/4 cup of sliced radishes, 1/4 cup of sugar snap peas or snow peas, 1/4 of an avocado, and 2 ounces (1/2 can) of
albacore tuna.
In addition to salmon, anchovies, sardines, cod and scallops,
albacore tuna is also a fantastic source of DHA omega - 3.
Omega fatty acids are naturally found
in fish and other marine organisms like salmon, anchovies, krill and
albacore tuna (among others) and are totally safe to give your pet.
Bigger fish, such as marlin, blue / black - fin
tuna, pompano, bonito,
albacore, mackerel, sailfish and wahoo thrive
in the deep waters of these reefs and hence, you need to venture into the depths of the reefs.

Albacore Fishing Association (AAFA) is the first sustainable
tuna fishery to be officially certified by the Marine Stewardship Council, an independent non-profit organization that promotes environmental responsibility
in an industry plagued by overfishing and accidental bycatch.
