The graphics are a little bit dated, and yes the marines can block the Alien / Xenomorph attacks and a few sounds ands animations aren't right (mainly marine) the predator and Alien gameplay make up for a the parts of the game where the marine didn't do it.

Aliens vs Predator is a good game, but it can't be compared to the early AvP games.

In the end Aliens vs.predator is a solid game that might not represent the iconic creatures well, but you will still have some fun.

To be fair, the game IS an excellent attempt at a polished addition to a now tiresome franchise, if you loved the Ridley Scott and James Camerons heralded Alien films, and like me, consider Predator as a must - have classic in the DVD collection, you won't put down the controller.

If not, you should probably look for another game where you destroy aliens.

An Amazing Fps game with Amazing graphics... Also the most violent game I've ever played plus with the realistic graphics it makes it gruesome... The aliens (Stroggs) like to experiment on humans, people are shown with parts of their face torn off, intestines hanging out, there is a scene where you can see your characters legs being sliced off by a bloody saw while strapped down, limbless people are attached to machines, some strange experiments like that, Do nt play this game if you are a little kid or some idiot thats going to copy what you see in this game...

It seems like Simcity on alien invasion mode, fun for people who enjoy chaos but not sightless interesting for a management / simulation game.

If you aren't familiar with the previous games, the only thing to know is that you are an alien fighting a war against the human race who is relentlessly attacking your base.
