Allo was promising when it was unveiled at I / O 2016, but a year later, it still doesn't have enough to make it our primary messaging app.
So far, Google
Allo and Inbox already support smart replies and now it's the turn for Gmail to
do get this support.

Allo uses your phone number (a huge deal in the US, where people still give out their number for SMS and don't use WhatsApp), instead of your personal Gmail address, which Hangouts requires.

If you didn't catch the news when Google first announced
Allo back in May, I'm going to start with the basics.
All chats in
Allo are end - to - end - encrypted, but if you don't want Google to store a record of your conversation, then Incognito Mode is for you.

Allo as a capable substitute to WhatsApp.
