Its seems to me that both the club and it's fans are not serious.Anytime Arsenal sign a youngster from another team who is dubbed the next whatever people come out and say Arsenal have just signed a youngster who may or may not make it and that Arsene should sign ready made. They say it to seem as if it's a bad thing. Now that Chris Willock is leaving I'm anticipating that a
lot of people are soon going to be blaming the same Wenger who actually likes bringing
in youngsters.Anyway you have to look at the reasons he lfet. It's for
game time and to him he thinks its a good choice. The bright side is that he's not Arsenal's most talented player. The likes
of Donyell Malen, Yassin Fortune, Reiss Nelson
in my eyes have more potential as wingers.I
also think Arsenal should be very excited about Eddie Nketiah and Stephy Mavididi. They can be world class strikers
in the future particularly Eddie.
What's this i see here.This site is
also in a crisis and that is understating the qualities
of our players.I for one will take Walcott over Pedro and i am just responding to a question.I just do nt get it.To me Walcott really is that good and we need him inform.Injuries have hampered his progress a
lot as a player but at least i am happy with him.I do not even get why peeps criticize him so badly. To me he should be our starting right winger. We need him because he is a
game changer.I just do nt get how he is on the bench.Peeps are so ignorant and will gather whatever facts they can to make him seem average.Talk about the certain 3 musketeers
in arsenal lineup but not him.He is a very dangerous player
They'll be back, provided they win out and figure out what's happening
in their passing
game, and
also in pass protection, and
also quit doing that swoony thing their offense does for extended periods
of games, and oh there's
also the matter
of what happened on that blocked kick, and the strange pair
of TD drives they allowed Penn State to get, and... there's a
lot, Ohio State.
Having said that we have a
lot of players away on international duty and highly unlikely they will all come back fit we always pick up 1 or 2 injuries so we may have important players missing as well fingers cross for a change we have no injuries and everyone fit for liverpool
game also we should have arteta, chamberlain and wilshire all fit to be
in the squad!
Wenger's love for Wilshere is not good for the team he must be benched, Jack stalls our fluid passing
game by running with the ball then being tackled and Ozil, Santi should be
in the centre with OX, Sanchez and Walcott when he comes back being the wingers we have
lots of pace
also with Welbeck upfront!
I think a wilshere and a rosicky would
also enjoy that role, there are
also two individuals who could give you a good
game in that role who would draw a
lot of fouls.
also Chambers improving a
lot in attacking portion
of game...
He inherited a fantastic side at Barcelona, he had Messi at his disposal (who will probably go down as the greatest player ever, and guarantee's you a goal a
game), Pep
also had a
lot of other world class players that were so
in tune which each others
game, he had
lots of money to spend, and Real and Barcelona were miles ahead
of any else
in the Spanish league
in terms
of quality players and finances.
A lack
of quality
in depth
in the current squad could
also be blamed for that as Milan have played a
lot of games this season already having had to
also deal with Europa League qualifiers at the start
of the campaign, and so perhaps that is
also catching up with them.
I know am
lot of fans feel as though we've turned the corner with the CL win, but I urge caution, wenger still played basically the same team barring forced injurys, he
also did his usual subs at the last minute, I'm not convinced anything has changed, we have a few
games coming up which will test the team, let's see what happens, and then let's see the club put its money where it's mouth is
in Jan
Good win, competition like these are good for our large squad, senior and junior players can get a
lot of game time, which will put them
in the eyes
of the manager and
also for there own development.
Say what you like admin.Even Diaby upon doing nothing for several seasons was able to secure a move to Marseille which to me is a top team. Was it not last season that before he went to Bournemouth teams like Juventus and AS Roma were interested
in him?He just needs a league which is not physical for the mean time.I mean any time he gets a run
of games he begins to hit top forn and just when things are looking up things go down again. This injury thing is a menace
in our club.Look at the number
of games Gnabry has played. But I will urge him to leave Arsenal because all he needs to do is to remain injury free. It's not rocket science. If Wilshere remains injury free for just one season he'll be great. It's just like the Van Persie case.A
lot of people were frustrated with him and cllled him man
of glass but I knew he just needed to be injury free for one season. To me he's a better player than Ramsey though Ramsey is on form.He
also has the ability to surpass Cazorla and be Arsenal's number one. He's
also Arsenall thrugh and through.Arsenal has to solve his injury problems because he's shown that when he gets a run
of games he can do it.
this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers
in midfield
in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then
also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out
in the cold light
of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his
game then we could have a great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust
in him that might be what makes him a great player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle
in fine and he is a team player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put
in a great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one
of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league with this
lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might play
in to our hands is the unpredictable nature
of the league
in the last few seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there
in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
Luckily Arsene had a chance to rest a
lot of our first team
in the Sunderland
game at the weekend, so we should have our best side out and fit and fresh for the challenge from Liverpool, who have
also had more than their fair share
of fixture congestion lately....
Last but least Ozïl, the talent is there and we know it: on any given day at the top
of his form he is arguably the best # 10
in the world and just need performances like this and the previous one to show it and remind everyone (what a pass for Giroud); will do a
lot for his confidence and
also felt he could've been more involved
in the team play but that will come with
game time (got 90 mins today)... Hopefully that doesn't stop until season's end and keep them passes and goals coming... Dare I say I would've love to see once a front
of Alexis, Ozïl, Walcott / Chamberlaine and Cazorla (mouthwatering)!!!
I think Ramsey has dropped his
game due to not appearing to show the same def desire as he did
in his half
of a great season, he might
of scored a
lot in that time but he
also put
in one
of the best def shifts
in the team as well.
I refuse to watch college football, for the same reasons I won't watch the
game in general, and
also because this is the NCAA's straight - faced position: It is OK for universities, beer vendors, T - shirt salesmen, coaches, parking
lot attendants, TV stations, TV networks, radio stations, radio networks, bloggers, TV reporters, newspaper reporters, idiots who boycott random things, and every single other person
in the entire world to make money off
of college football
games — except for the men who play them.
Wenger makes a good point about believing
in himself and I think that although Chamberlain seemed to show a
lot of passion and confidence on the pitch last night, there is
also a
lot of frustration surrounding his
game.
Also remember the BPL is the toughest league
in the world, no longer is it a 2 horse race between us and United (like it was pre 2005
in your article), there are at least 5 - 6 teams capable
of winning it — so it has become a
lot more difficult to win honors and the fact that we are considered the best team next to Chel $ ea right now and
in 2nd place shows just how Wenger HAS indeed evolved with the
game.
Arsenal's defence have been back to their miserly self recently, but the Foxes have
also been keeping tighter at the back
in recent
games, but I still think there will be
lots of goals
in this, but Arsenal score more?
He hasn't played regularly and
also been given weird roles
in a
lot of games.
He is not a quality striker because he makes a
lot of mistakes
in his
game. The fact that he scores 20 goals does not mean he is a quality back up striker. It is one thing to be a goal scorer and another thing to be a good or average player.Goal scoring is a very important aspect
of a player but not the only aspect.Trust me you can score 20 goals
in all competitions and still be average. If Chamakh, Gervinho and all the so called flops scored this same goals they would still have been considered not good enough for Arsenal. His
game is just not good enough and I for one believe even if no one believes that we can get a backup striker who is better than him and
also a top centre forward. Its all about mentality and willingness.Forget his goals and look at his
game or else you'll force me to bring up strikers
in the world who have scored his same goals and are even considered terrible.
(Sure, the Celts
also had
lots of TOs
in that
game, but that was to be expected since Celt 2nd and 3rd stringers were running the Celtics offense against good Jazz defensive pressure.)
i completely agree with you, arsenal fans might be the most present online but i truly believe that they are some
of the most clueless when it comes down to the
game, they slam the manager based on what they read
in the papers, on websites as if it were the gospel truth some
of them would like to think they, d do a better job than wenger and our players, they post a
lot of comments and don, t even know the positions
of some players even when we win comfortably they, re never satisfied oh
also they love the usual cliches used by the so - called journalists / pundits.
A bagged DC just couldn't implement his clinch
game past three rounds, and when Jones
also tired out, it was a
lot of leaning and wrist control against the cage to earn the 10 - 9
in the 5th.
Now I think there is still reasons to be cheerful, I agree Man C & Chelski have spent & bought some good players, we all understand that 5
of those teams might be
in the CL proper which is a huge distraction for those 4 - 5 teams.Chelsea will not be able to field the same 13 - 14 players all season, as for Man C they were very frail at the back last season, add to that 2 flying wing backs and I'm not sure they will be any better this coming season.LFC will most probably have CL as well if they qualify and haven't exactly bought great players apart from Salah who could be a good aquasistion for them.Spuds have sold a good player & strengthened a rival & still not bought a single player yet, Man U have bought 2 good players &
in Lukaku have a proven goal scorer
in the PL but if they play the same dour way they did last season & with the added
games the CL brings will they perform week
in week out
in the league??? As for Everton yes they have released a
lot of players and
also brought
in a
lot too to give better quality
in the squad as they have Europa league the same as US the big difference is I think we will play squad players & youngsters maybe with a few senior players all the way up to the QF This tells me most
of our rivals will pave the way for us to field pretty much the same side every weekend
in the PL thus giving us an advantage over all the other 5 teams playing
in the CL & Europa, just remember the League has been won
in the last 2 seasons by teams NOT
in Europe YES we are this season but I think Wenger will put all his eggs
in the League basket and field an under strength side
in all comps hence focusing on the League until we are no longer
in the race.
yeah but i
also have to say that he does nt sparkle either: / he did score some goals but whenever i see him
in the
game i cant really say that he is the one i want to have permanently on the right because he slows the attacks down very often and often passes turn on the wing and passes back, right now he is only better than the ox because he scored 3 goals more i think maybe a bit more, but neither
of them do enough, ramsey on the other side when he started on the wing at the start
of the season did a
lot of things for the build - up i prefer ramsey to campbell... well
of course an
in form walcott
of the season 12/13 would be the dream because
in that season he was
in my opinion equal if not better than sanchez
of the season 14/15 but thats a dream xD
Ajax do not want him on loan.He is bashed too much and i think he should leave to ajax.He may be error prone but has done his best
in having to be behind some terrible defending over the years.I admire his bravery. He was 19 years when he played his first
game and to me its just a matter
of time before he becomes world class. The defence barely helped him
in his first and second season here to be honest and he
also did not help himself by making a
lot of mistakes. But i believe that Szczesny will be a legendary keeper one day.He just has that kind
of something i do nt know but something about him makes me feel he can be so good.He should just leave and rebuild his career at Ajax if possible. He should know that he has the potential and by getting his head
in the
game and focusing the sky will be the limit.
I
also do not have any stats
in regards to how Arsenal fans feel about Wenger, but what swings it for me is
lots of empty seats at
games, protests, and the fact that most fans views on Wenger are very negative whether it be from social media, or Youtube.
I mean the
game hasn't changed * that * much
in the last 10 years — the teams who can score against the most stubborn defences and defend well themselves tend to do rather well Giroud gets through an awful
lot of ugly work
in a match, even when he doesn't score and is
also an asset when defending set pieces.
«I think I've seen that
in Cleveland and
also with a
lot of young quarterbacks all over the league, because most
of them have a
lot of success their whole lives, and all
of a sudden the NFL is a different
game, and everything they thought they knew about themselves — that they were great leaders, and they could throw the ball and read defenses, and that their will would always overcome — they start to question those things and lose their confidence, and some never regain it.»
The Saints are no mugs and even though Claude Puel has
also had a
lot of games to get through with Southampton being
in the Europa League I expect them to see this trophy as more important than Wenger does.
He'd be able to hold the ball up, but
also get
in behind the defence, and a
lot of times where we've come up short
in the past with our current squad come down to us not taking our chances
in those
games.
On the next snap Johnson zipped a 31 - yard TD pass to McDevitt, who
also caught another scoring pass
in the
game and who hasn't spent a
lot of time second - guessing his decision to transfer.
Also, the team worked a
lot on one aspect
of their
game that has troubled Nigeria
in recent times but could be the joker for the tie
in Zambia owing to the bad playing surface.
Her passing was
also mediocre, completing only 44 %
of her 34 attempts, although
in large part that was due to her playing on the same side as Rapinoe for much
of the
game and them attempting a
lot of unsuccessful long passes to split the Spirit defense.
For example, Henderson is top
of this category with an average
of 2.3 clearances per
game — this sounds great and it shows that Henderson gets through a
lot of work during a
game but it
also shows that Liverpool are under pressure a
lot of the time meaning he's potentially more likely to make more clearances per
game than say Arsenal's Jack Wilshere — with the Londoners dominating most
games they play
in.
Like Rasp, the whole Wenger
in / out debate was
also killing my enthusiasm for going to
games and I was considering giving up my season ticket as it was becoming less fun due to the general atmosphere at a
lot of matches.
I
also want to share what it feels like to take
in a
game from the student section at Mizzou Arena, something I assume a
lot of the Rock M Nation community never had a chance to do.
Have a feeling there is going to be a
lot of unity
in these remaining
games But
also a day to be glad at what the club have been given.
But then things have changed a
lot in the last couple
of weeks with the King's return and the Leeds
games showed that he has
also got some kind
of spirit into the team.
However I'm not for selling coutinho inconsistent he can be but he's become a
lot more efficient and effective
also and if he can get a decent calibre
of players around him I believe his
game would shoot up, and other than David silva and one or two others as dominating as he is
in the middle
of your midfield
He doesn't play
games, a
lot of managers do certain things... I think if you're
in the team you like him and if you're out the team, you
also like him!
If you think it was bad last night wait for the Tottenham
game, I was speaking to a mate
of mine and he said a
lot of the old faces are already planning to come and cause trouble inside and outside, the trouble is all the old faces and some new ones know this Stadium is perfect for hooliganism, even if they get banned it might be one or two last hurrahs, I expect every
game we are allowed to play this season will have similar stories and our name will be dragged through the mud, everyone that is involved
in it if found guilty by a court should be named and shamed publically so that there families and employers can judge them
also.
Obviously, this approach
also goes hand -
in - hand with our offensive
game plan, which seeks to control the ball and burn a
lot of time off the clock.
