Although females and males did not seem to differ in their relationship with neutering and TC, when including only individuals with TCindex = 0 and TCindex = 2 — 12 (leaving out
dogs with TCindex = 1), the effect of the neutering was significant only among females (all breeds
pooled, Chi - square test: females χ21, 153 = 4.46, p = 0.035; males χ21, 151 = 0.056, p = ns), suggesting that neutering in females may have a controlling effect on TC behaviour.
Dogs are allowed all year round,
although some restrictions apply during the peak summer weeks, and children love the rockpools and seawater swimming
pool built into the back of iconic Chapel Rock.
