In the coming years, RAMS hopes to continue and expand its mission of helping Native
Americans, Hispanic
Americans, African
Americans, and
women enter
science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
There are not many
women in graduate
science and engineering curriculums, and even fewer Mexican -
American women.
Diversity
in the
science workforce has improved steadily, but
women and African
Americans — and even more so African -
American women — are still underrepresented
in her field.
And don't forget your local biotechnology centers and young scientist chapters of national
