Courtesy of an independent Australian developer, Witch Beam, comes an exciting and action - packed title available for early access on the Steam platform called Assault Android Cactus.

Witch Beam will be at PAX Australia demoing the upcoming PlayStation 4 version of their critically acclaimed arcade style twin stick shooter, Assault Android Cactus, which will be releasing in Q1 2016 alongside the Wii - U and PlayStation Vita versions.

Assault Android Cactus is a great dual - joystick shooter for those looking for a new one.

With the likes of Geometry Wars 3, Helldivers, Assault Android Cactus, Neon Chrome, Super Stardust Ultra, Crimsonland, Dead Nation and Enter the Gungeon — amongst a veritable stack of others — all competing for your dollars, new titles must provide truly new ideas to get a shout, or at the very least, must provide a lot of polish and addictive gameplay.

I'm probably voting for Assault Android Cactus, but I hope to enjoy whichever of these three we end up with.
