if something happens in your community — they may be able to provide housing and
care to your dog while your family regroups after a disaster.

animal shelter, boarding kennel or other pet
care facility develops an outbreak, the entire
facility will need to temporarily shut down.

animals. A 501c3 is a tax designation and does not indicate whether the organization provides excellent
care or is a hoarder or «hellhole», a seriously substandard
facility.

care that is very sick and you don't have the resources to send to a specialist or overnight
facility, your veterinarian will be liable for not following the standard of
care, even
if they are personally treating the
animal and working through the issue.
Another thing to find out is
if the clinic is certified by the American
Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) which is a voluntary stamp of approval that signifies the office meets and maintain a high standard of equipment,
facility and quality of
care.
If you are leaving your pet under the
care of a boarding
facility or a friend, be sure to update your
animal hospital.
If she is evicted, her cats will be taken to the City's
Animal Care & Control
facility, where many otherwise adoptable cats may be needlessly euthanized.
